In an election cycle with significant political divisions on so many important issues it’s hard not to feel anxious about the future. Add to that seemingly daily news about natural disasters, gun violence, growing tensions in the Middle East…and life can look bleak.
But there’s much to be thankful for…friends, family, enough to eat, the beauty of nature, a church family in which we can share sorrows and fears, hopes and joy.
Please join us this Sunday, October 6 as we do just that in a special Service of Prayer for Our Nation and the World. We’ll gather as a community to pray and share, sing and read scripture and we’ll end our time together with communion as part of World Communion Sunday. We hope to see you for a meaningful time together.
