From the soaring, majestic sounds of our century old pipe organ, to our jazz combo, traditional Gospel to contemporary Christian, from George Fredrick Handel’s Halleluiah Chorus to Bob Marley’s One Love – music at Madrona is a rich tapestry of styles and flavors.
Instead of the traditional Music Director model, we employ a collaborative model where every ones’ option is heard. It can seem chaotic at times, but it is a reflection of our willingness to let God be in charge and to listen for the voice of the Spirit
We are often referred to a “musicians church”; a place where there’s always room for one more singer or one more player. We are an open friendly bunch who loves meeting new people and making music together. If music is your passion, we invite you to join us.
We rehearse on Thursday Evenings 7-8:30pm, September-June.
